2018 Campaign

#ShesGotThis worked with several companies and partners to raise awareness of unconscious discrimination in 2018. During the autumn, we organized the annual #ShesGotThis-day in collaboration with NHO, where we invited 30 Norwegian business executives to lead roundtable discussions on unconscious discrimination with over 200 executives in Norway.

Below, you can watch and read more about some of the digital campaigns run during 2018.

In collaboration with Vipps , we carried out a social experiment. In addition, we asked people to submit stories of situations where they had experienced unconscious discrimination. Several of the videos from the experiment and the stories can be seen here. If you want to learn more about the numbers we have used in the videos, you can find a fact sheet here.

During spring 2018, we carried out a campaign in collaboration with the savings app Kron, where we encouraged the Oil Fund to invest in equal companies. The campaign got traction in TV2, E24 and Shifter. You can read more about the campaign here.

During autumn 2018, we collaborated with the Norwegian fashion magazine Elle to show that gender equality does not always happen organically. Although gender equality has received a lot of attention in the past year, equality and feminism should be considered more than a trend, requiring continuous efforts.

KPMG is one of many partners who we have hosted events in collaboration with. During spring 2018, we hosted a breakfast-meeting with the theme unconscious discrimination. KPMG chose to create a film from the session.

The Norwegian Armed Forces is highly male dominated. In collaboration with them, we wanted to shed light on the unconscious expectations we have for others based on gender. The film awakens our unconscious attitudes, demonstrating that most people expect it to be a man in the following situation.

Is it true that women do not dare to take on a larger role in the media? During autumn 2018, we arranged a conference in collaboration with Dagens Næringsliv, highlighting the role of women in the media. Read more about the background for the event here.

Maybe it is easier to recognize gender stereotypes when you flip them upside down?
