We arrange a variety of events, lectures and workshops for our partners. During the 2017 campaign, we hosted a big event in collaboration with NHO, where over 20 senior executives led round table discussions with the help of conversation cards created by us, based on available research on unconscious discrimination in the business community. The idea behind the conversations cards were to point to concrete research and facts that demonstrates the degree of gender stereotypes and unconscious discrimination, and the consequences of this, and thus raise awareness concerning the magnitude of the problem. The NHO event gathered over 200 participants from the business community, from junior positions to top management, with about the same amount of women and men attending.
Based on our positive experiences, we now offer similar events in collaboration with large Norwegian corporations with very good feedback. The companies state that for the first time, they achieve enthusiasm and commitment amongst both women and men at all levels of the organization. Events like this also contributes in making it easier for the companies to address challenges related to unconscious bias and gender stereotypes in the workplace.
